How we research, write, review, and maintain the information on this site. These principles apply to our articles, guides, and tools.

Information, not advice

Everything we publish is for information and education only. Pharos Introductions is an introducer, not an adviser, and nothing on this site is a personal recommendation. Whether a product, pension, or structure is right for you depends on your circumstances, and only a regulated specialist who knows your full situation can judge that.

We work from primary sources

Tax, pension, and reporting content is built from official, primary sources, for example HMRC, GOV.UK, the IRS, and published legislation, rather than second-hand summaries. Where a figure or rule matters, we point to the source so you can check it for yourself.

AI-assisted, human-reviewed

We use AI tools to help research and draft, and a person reviews every piece against its sources before it is published. The tools speed the work; the judgement and the accountability stay human.

We keep it current

Tax and pension rules change, sometimes with little notice. Articles carry their published and last-reviewed dates so you can see how fresh the information is, and we revise content when the rules move.

Who gives advice

Pharos Introductions does not advise. We introduce you to regulated specialists who are authorised to advise in the relevant jurisdiction, and any recommendation about your own situation comes from them, not from this website.
